Description

ShoppingScout is urgently seeking a motivated and skilled category analyst to join our world-class software engineering team. If you are the kind of person that does 10 times the work that your peers do because you are bright and passionate about your work, loves to learn and interact with a diverse group of bright and successful engineers and business executives, and is looking to get in on the ground floor of a startup that will be a billion dollar company, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!!

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize internal user interfaces to manage products within assigned categories 
• Conduct Quality Assurance of incoming data
• Provide input to support Shoppers Application
• Recommend improvements for our tools and processes

Required

• Familiarity with retail products and websites
• Computer with internet access and strong computer skills
• Microsoft Office, Google Docs and SQL familiarity. 
• Ability to review data and provide suggestions on product improvement. 
• Self-motivated, highly organized, efficient team player with an eye for details

Desired
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative/ownership of projects and see through to completion.
• Superior knowledge of retail sales, assortment and merchandising.
• 3+ years experience in retail/grocery category management..
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.

Part-time, Equity-based Compensation
We are a startup, looking for visionary opportunity seekers who are willing to start part-time as contract workers with a commitment of at least 15 hours / week, with equity compensation.This continuously develops a stake in the company and what we’ve accomplished, down the road there will also be an option to come on board as a full-time employee. 

$500 referral fee
